The IT Crowd

Office in the IT Crowd

The IT Crowd - Office in the IT Crowd

"The IT Crowd" is a British television sitcom that premiered on Channel 4 in 2006 and ran for four seasons, ending in 2013. The show was created by Graham Linehan and starred Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson, and Matt Berry.

The series follows the story of Roy Trenneman (played by O'Dowd) and Maurice Moss (played by Ayoade), two socially awkward and inept IT technicians who work in the basement of a large corporation. They are supervised by their manager, Jen Barber (played by Parkinson), who knows nothing about technology but tries to present herself as an expert.

The show uses the interactions between the three main characters to explore themes of social awkwardness, office politics, and technology. The humor is often absurd and surreal, with running jokes and recurring gags, such as the "Did you try turning it off and on again?" catchphrase that has become a cultural meme.
